That’s why the TM Forum AI & Data Mission is prioritizing four critical initiatives within our AI-native integration blueprint program to drive industry standardization.

We will discuss the 4 key initiatives we are working:

Security SecOps: Instead of reinventing the wheel, we need to ensure every aspect of the use of AI is secure. The best way to do that is to align with proven security frameworks, such as Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 and NIST 853.

Data Product Discovery: Our innovative approach will make it significantly easier for software agents to reliably locate and work with data across diverse marketplaces, regardless of provider or storage method, reducing integration friction for everyone.

Model Operations & Services (MODaS): We’re establishing standards for secure, efficient management of AI models used from customer service to automated network operations, with emphasis on cost control and full usage transparency.

Agentic Interactions: Our mission is to enable smart agents, like advanced AI programs, to interact seamlessly and consistently with existing telecom systems, driving faster automation and lowering the barriers to adopting innovative technologies.
