• how Telstra modelled each of their network domains as services,
• how they then exposed those services using a set of industry standard Open APIs,
• how this enabled Telstra to decouple the operational and business support systems (OSS/BSS) from the network itself,
• how this resulted in significant simplification of the management of the network and also reduction of time to market for new network products.
